Puppy weight calculator
How big will your puppy get? Enter their age and today’s weight for an estimate of their adult weight, and roughly when they’ll stop growing.
How the estimate works
Puppies don’t grow in a straight line, and big breeds grow for longer. A toy breed is around 60% of its adult weight at four months; a giant breed is closer to 30%. The calculator finds how far along a puppy of that size usually is at your puppy’s age, and scales today’s weight up to match.
For breeds in our verified weight data, such as the Golden Retriever, it uses that breed’s own month-by-month curve, by sex. For everything else it uses the curve for the adult size you choose, or works the size out itself.

| 6 months | 82% | 77% | 67% | 56% | 46% |

In PetTrackr, every weigh-in of a puppy is placed on a month-by-month growth range, so you can see at a glance whether your puppy is growing on track for their age.
PetTrackr helps you keep track. It is not veterinary advice: if your pet seems unwell, call your vet.
